Dragon Age II Hints
Find another way out of the dwarven crypt.
1 of 7: Go through the door at the south end of the idol chamber and turn right (west) at the path split.
2 of 7: As you enter the large room to the south, shades will attack you from both sides, and four more will appear after those are dead.
3 of 7: Next, several new "profane" creatures will appear at the south end of the room. Use the stairs on either side of the room to get down to them, then loot the nearby locked chest after they're dead.
4 of 7: Go down the south passage until it turns east, at which point you'll be seen by an assortment of shades and profane. Run everyone back north if you want to make sure you don't get surrounded.
5 of 7: At the east end of the passage is a door that leads to an area with more shades and profane. Use the same retreat-first tactic to make the combat easier.
6 of 7: After it's over, a hunger demon in the body of a profane will talk to you and try to make a deal. If you accept, you won't have to fight it or any more profane on the way to the vault, though you will have to fight them after you defeat the vault's guardian. It's best to do the combat now, especially if Anders is in your party and you don't want to gain rivalry points with him.
7 of 7: Quickly kill the demon's rock wraith form, then fight its abomination form and all the shades and profane that it summons.
