Dragon Age II Hints

Party-Attack Strategy

  • 1 of 5: In this strategy, you select the entire party (Ctrl-A on the PC) so that when you right-click on an enemy to attack it, everyone starts attacking it at once.
  • 2 of 5: Also, if you right-click on the floor somewhere to run over there, everyone will start running over there right away.
  • 3 of 5: This can be used to quickly eliminate enemies one at a time, and to lead enemies to a spot where you can bottleneck them in narrow passageways and deal with them a few at a time.
  • 4 of 5: The runaway tactic is especially useful when the game requires you to enter a room and have a brief conversation with a large group of baddies before they turn hostile.
  • 5 of 5: NOTE: Unlike in Dragon Age: Origins, selected characters will often use spells and other abilities automatically. However, they may not always, so keep an eye on them.
