Combat and Loot Tips
1 of 6: Look for a deep mushroom a bit NE of the altar.
2 of 6: Take the side path that leads east, and have your rogue lead the way up the first set of stone steps.
3 of 6: Just past the steps are three traps in a row, plus a combat with a revenant and some corpses. Focus everyone on the revenant as soon as it appears, and watch for some shades to show up later.
4 of 6: Move along the path to find two chests (one locked), then keep going until the path turns east.
5 of 6: Look back to the south for a pile of bones with a Rune of Lightning recipe on them, then go east to find a codex item and another magic barrier.
6 of 6: Run into the barrier to get a shadow warrior and several shades to appear. Unfortunately, the barrier will stay up even after they're all killed.
