1 of 6: You'll only get this quest if you got alternative funding from Dougal Gavorn in Act I. If you paid Bartrand out of your own money, you'll get the "Finding Home" quest instead.
2 of 6: After your conversation with the viscount, exit his keep to meet up with Bodahn and get this quest.
3 of 6: Go north to the Hightown Square, then look near its NE corner for the entrance to the Hawke Estate.
4 of 6: Enter it to get the "Prime Suspect" quest and a conversation with Gavorn.
5 of 6: You could give him 100 gold coins if you have them, but that would be a terrible waste of money. Instead, refuse to pay him.
6 of 6: If you don't pay him, he and several of his thugs will attack you at some point while traveling around on the world maps. After killing them off, search the area for any leftover thugs plus a lootable barrel and crate.
