1 of 3: One way is to have Aveline in your party.
2 of 3: Say you want to help Feynriel, then say the city guard might help. Aveline will take over and convince Thrask to tell you about Samson.
3 of 3: Or you could ask if you can assist Thrask, in which case he'll tell you (but that won't get you any friendship points with Aveline).
