How can I rescue Merin?
1 of 5: Go through the doorway that's west of where Emrys was.
2 of 5: Move along the passage to reach the room where Merin is fighting a darkspawn emissary and several hurlocks.
3 of 5: Focus on taking down the emissary first, then finish off the hurlocks. (Then do the same thing again with the second wave.)
4 of 5: After you talk to Marin, go back to where you found Emrys, then head down the east passage.
5 of 5: Loot the pile of bones in the big room you come to, then continue to the next room to find Iwan's body (and another pile of bones to loot).
