The Long Road

  • 1 of 9: You'll get this quest when you finish the "Blackpowder Courtesy" main plot quest.
  • 2 of 9: Talk to Aveline in the Viscount's Keep's guard barracks, then look for Guardsman Donnic.
  • 3 of 9: You'll find him in the barracks' southern room. Talk to him, then go talk to Aveline again.
  • 4 of 9: Find the duty roster on the north side of the main barracks area, then activate it to post the new roster that Aveline gave you.
  • 5 of 9: Talk to Aveline again to find out what's going on, then talk to Donnic about getting some drinks.
  • 6 of 9: Travel to the Hanged Man pub on the Kirkwall Night map, then talk to Donnic near the bar to get a cut-scene.
  • 7 of 9: After it's over, travel to the Wounded Coast region on the Free Marches map.
  • 8 of 9: Loot the sack that's near the third signal fire, then return to the Viscount's Keep.
  • 9 of 9: Talk to Aveline in the barracks area, then talk to her again after Donnic meets with her to finish the quest.
