How can I free Feynriel?
1 of 3: The easiest way will only be available if you have Varric in your party. Defer to him, and he'll talk Varian into giving you Feynriel and 3 gold coins without a fight. (You'll also get a lot of companion friendship points.)
2 of 3: If you say you'll risk that, a tough combat will start in which you have to kill Varian and all of his slavers.
3 of 3: The other option is to pay 5 gold coins to free Feynriel without a fight. If this is your only viable option, you may want to load an earlier save and go add Varric to your party, then come back and finish it his way.
