Honoring the Fallen
1 of 9: You get this quest while doing the "Mirror Image" companion quest.
2 of 9: Go to the north end of the left (west) path that starts near Keeper Marethari, then enter the Varterral Hunting Ground cave.
3 of 9: Check the side area to the west for some lootable bones, then go down the stone steps that lead to Hunter Radha's body. As you approach it, several cave spiders will drop down and attack. Note that they'll be joined by wasp spiders in the second wave.
4 of 9: Loot Hunter Radha's body to get his amulet, then move on until you come to a large cave room that has what looks like a big fallen-over watchtower. Go through the doorway next to the tower's base and down some stairs to find Hunter Harshal's body.
5 of 9: Loot him, then return to the large cave room. Go down to its lower floor to find some orichalcum and a few more spiders to fight.
6 of 9: In the next cave area, look for some glitterdust and a locked chest in a side area, then go down some more stairs. Look for lootable rubble in the side area on the left, then look on the right for Hunter Chandan.
7 of 9: Loot him, then go over to the next doorway to get a cut-scene with a panicky elf named Pol. After he runs off, run after him to get a brief cut-scene followed by a combat with the freaky varterral creature.
8 of 9: After the thing finally dies, loot it to get an item that's needed for the "Herbalist's Tasks" secondary quest, then look around its lair for a pile of treasure and some lootable bones. Also, go up the stairs on the west side of the lair to find a deep mushroom.
9 of 9: Return to the Dalish camp and talk to Keeper Marethari. After she gives you the item that Merrill wants, you can give it to her for a friendship increase or refuse to for a rivalry increase.
