Dragon Age II Hints
Hightown
of 10: Look along the north side of the square to see if there's a qunari there named Taarbas. If so, you can talk to him to get the "The Lost Swords" side quest.
of 10: Enter the Hawke Estate and do the "Beware of Dog" premium content quest if it comes up, then check the writing desk for letters, including one that gives you a powerful suit of armor as a reward.
of 10: Exit the estate, then go up the eastern-most set of stairs at the south end of the square's east half to find a chest.
of 10: There's another chest near the NW corner of the large courtyard that's between the square and the Viscount's Keep.
of 10: Enter the keep and look in the guard barracks' north and south side rooms for locked chests.
of 10: Back outside, look for a chest on the upper walkway just north of the chantry building's entrance.
of 10: Enter the chantry and go to its west end, then look for a codex item in the south upstairs area.
of 10: Back in Hightown, go to the market and check the four merchant stores for things like a backpack and a qunari sword for Taarbas' quest.
of 10: Look for a locked chest in the NW corner of the Merchants Guild area, and a barrel near the NE corner of the Red Lantern District.
of 10: In the Blooming Rose, there are two lootable crates in the SE corner room and two chests in the upstairs rooms (one of which is locked with a master-level lock).
