Dreamfall: The Longest Journey Hints
Can you give me some tips for dealing with Jama at the gym?
1 of 3: This part of the game is really just a tutorial for you, as the player, to help you with the combat sequences that you'll find later in the game. You can practice as many times as you'd like -- just keep talking to Jama to go another round. But there's no additional benefit beyond improving your own skills -- Zoë, as the character, doesn't get any stronger with practice or anything like that.
2 of 3: Jama doesn't seem to take it all that easy on you, so there's really no harm done if you can't beat her now. Some of the fights that come later may even be easier than what Jama puts you through.
3 of 3: In fact, if you're still getting used to the controls, you're probably better off just proceeding with the game -- perhaps keeping a saved game here if you really want to reload and then restore if you need some more practice later.
