How do I unlock the fence?

  • 1 of 12: It seems to be locked with some kind of digital lock, which you're going to have to crack.
  • 2 of 12: And you've already gotten through another kind of lock before.
  • 3 of 12: Why don't you try using your mobile on the lock?
  • 4 of 12: Well, it turns out that doesn't work as you'd expect, but it looks like Liv has a suggestion for you.
  • 5 of 12: You need to find a digital lockpick here in Venice.
  • 6 of 12: And there's only one person who seems to sell much of anything.
  • 7 of 12: Go talk to the merchant back in the main square -- just on the other side of that one large bridge.
  • 8 of 12: As you talk to him, you'll learn that he does have a single lockpick, but he wants something valuable in return.  Zoë offers her mobile, but the merchant says that he'd rather have a mobile that was invisible.
  • 9 of 12: And, sure enough, your mobile is invisible.
  • 10 of 12: You're going to need your own phone, but maybe Liv can help you again.
  • 11 of 12: Go into your inventory and use the mobile on the merchant.  When you do this, Liv will upload another version of her cloaking software onto your phone, so you can trade it to the merchant.
  • 12 of 12: When that's done, talk to the merchant again, and this time, you'll be able to trade for the lockpick.  Use it on the gate back behind the hotel to unlock the gate.
