How can I sneak past the guard?
1 of 6: First, make sure that you're moving with the sneak key -- using the let trigger on your gamepad or the CONTROL key on your keyboard. This will keep him from hearing you until you're actually ready to execute the solution.
2 of 6: As you first approach this part of the hotel, you'll be coming through the hotel's kitchen.
3 of 6: And a brief cut-scene focuses on the pizza rehydrater that's on the counter. (It's the round device that looks, well, pizza-shaped.)
4 of 6: A little bit of food could probably distract the guard long enough that you could sneak past.
5 of 6: All you need to do is sneak up to the hydrator and use it. Zoë will know how to set the timer so that it goes off in a few seconds.
6 of 6: Hide back away from the counter near the basement stairs until the timer on the hydrator goes off and the guard comes to check out the pizza. You can then sneak back towards the lobby and up the stairs to the second floor.
