Dreamfall: The Longest Journey Hints
How do I get back to the first side of the gate?
of 10: You won't be able to go back up the hole that you knocked in the wall -- it's too dangerous that way.
of 10: Nor can you open the gate that looks directly into the room with the four symbols.
of 10: But if you explore, you may find another way back to first part of this lair, where you originally entered.
of 10: As you're facing through the gate into the room with the symbols on the floor, turn to your right and walk down that passageway.
of 10: There should be another passageway to your left -- this one, not nearly as well-crafted as most of the hallways around here.
of 10: Go down that passageway, and notice how it seems to dead-end.
of 10: Seems, being the operative word.
of 10: This is a secret door. Open it, and you're back in the other half of the lair. You can now travel freely between the sections.
of 10: As a side note, it's possible to open the secret door before you go down the crumbling passageway. To do so, you'll need to watch one of the creatures opening the door.
of 10: It will take a bit of sneaking -- you may need to hide behind some rubble down the hall from the secret door -- but it is possible if you're patient and/or lucky. Of course, it isn't necessary to do so -- you can still open the door from other side without watching it being opened.
