Dreamfall: The Longest Journey Hints
I've seen the Prophet again, but the path to him is guarded by creatures.
1 of 15: Yes it is. You still need to find a way over there.
2 of 15: There are two creatures here. One will stand still at the top of the staircase on the center of the other side of this area. The other will patrol the area.
3 of 15: It walks back and forth from one end of the "valley" in the middle of this area, between the two sets of staircases.
4 of 15: It eventually starts to climb the stairs toward you.
5 of 15: There are two staircases down on your side of the valley, one to either side of where you first entered this area.
6 of 15: But notice that there are also two stairs on the far side.
7 of 15: One was the stairs in the center that the stationary creature is now guarding.
8 of 15: As you're looking at that creature, you will also see a smaller set of stairs to your right.
9 of 15: That's where you want to go.
10 of 15: Wait until the roving creature is on the left. You may even want to let him spot you and start heading up the left stairs on your side of the valley. (You can outrun it.)
11 of 15: Then, run up the stairs to the right of the stationary guard.
12 of 15: As you do this, the stairs will crumble behind you. The roving creature won't be able to chase you, and the stationary one seems completely oblivious to what's happening.
13 of 15: Continue up. Once you reach a balcony above the stationary creature, there will be a gap in the railing that you can climb down through.
14 of 15: Climb down a second time from the block below the balcony, and you'll be directly behind the stationary creature.
15 of 15: Just be careful to sneak, and it won't even know you're there. You can head down toward the back, where this section of the chapter will end.
