How can I take care of the second guard?

  • 1 of 15: Zoë can only do so much on this one.
  • 2 of 15: And that is to go tell Crow what she sees.  Go back to your cell, and talk to him -- and it will then be up to April to figure out how to solve this one.
  • 3 of 15: At least April has one more piece of information -- she knows that this guard has ordered a sandwich for delivery.
  • 4 of 15: So you probably want to bring him a sandwich as an excuse to get into the prison.
  • 5 of 15: But you also need to use that as a way of helping Zoë.
  • 6 of 15: Maybe by putting something in the sandwich?
  • 7 of 15: Like a potion.
  • 8 of 15: Talk to Roper Klacks, and he'll give you the sleeping potion you need.
  • 9 of 15: Now, get the sandwich from an obvious source.
  • 10 of 15: Benrime in the Journeyman Inn will supply one.
  • 11 of 15: Combine the two, and you have a poisoned sandwich.
  • 12 of 15: With that in hand, you're ready to return to the Keep and make your delivery.  Talk into the tube next to the door, and say you're here to make the delivery.  The warden will then let you into the prison to do so.
  • 13 of 15: He said the food elevator was on the lower level.
  • 14 of 15: Walk into the space underneath the staircase, near the machinery there.  The food elevator will be inside the pillar here.
  • 15 of 15: Pull the handle on the left to open the door, use the sandwich on the opening, and pull the handle again to deliver it to the guard.  The guard will fall asleep once Zoë approaches him.
