Dreamfall: The Longest Journey Hints
What does this ending really mean?
1 of 5: The only thing I can say for sure is that it means the developers planned for a sequel. (NOTE: I have absolutely no idea if or when a sequel will be released. I recommend checking http://www.dreamfall.com/ or http://www.funcom.com/ for the latest updates.)
2 of 5: You obviously took care of the Static, but the fates of all the characters are still hanging in the balance. (Pardon the pun.)
3 of 5: All of the rest of the questions still seem to be unanswered. What *exactly* is this Undreaming? What will stop WATI?
4 of 5: And if you watch all the way to the end of the credits, and keep watching, one more question may arise -- the story ends on Brian Westhouse, just as it started with him. So just what is he up to?
5 of 5: That's all there is. The game does end some of the story threads, and it is satisfying in some respects. However, some of those threads end on kind of a down note. So call it a cliffhanger, call it a depressing (or at least bittersweet) ending, or call it an excuse to sell sequels. I'll leave it up to you to draw your own opinion.
