Dark Side of the Moon Hints

I have the right equipment, but I can't repair the walkway.

  • 1 of 8: The smelter develops incredible heat when used.
  • 2 of 8: The smelter will turn the metal of the walkway red-hot, and make it pliable so that it can be repaired.
  • 3 of 8: You can't touch the red-hot metal with your bare hands!
  • 4 of 8: You'll need something on your hands to insulate them from the heat.
  • 5 of 8: Have you been to General Outfitters yet?
  • 6 of 8: You'll need to purchase some Thermal Mittens from General Outfitters.
  • 7 of 8: Put the Thermal Mittens on by clicking them on your "body" in the lower left corner.
  • 8 of 8: You can now fix the walkway.  Use the smelter to turn the metal red-hot; then "touch" the hot metal (by clicking on it), and it will become fixed.
