Duke Nukem 3D Hints
Pistol
In Doom, using your pistol in Deathmatch was the equivalent of pinching somebody in the arm -- it barely did any damage. Not in Duke 3D. The Pistol is actually a good weapon, since it DOES have a rapid firing rate. If you run out of Ripper ammo, this is an excellent substitute. Still, don't expect an easy kills with this one.
