Duke Nukem 3D Hints
Shrinker
This is regarded as an extremely cheap weapon and in most cases, and it is. But there's no way to ban it, so just learn some tactics and you'll be slightly better off. First, it pauses for a split second before it fires, so lead your target somewhat. This can be used to your advantage if your opponent has a Shrinker, and you don't. Run and jump a lot, since hitting you with such a slow weapon is really difficult. Eventually, the ammo will run out. When it does, kill! Whatever you do, don't get close to your enemy when they have one of these. They can squash you so quickly you won't know if until you're dead.
If you HAVE been shrunken, one word is run. Far away. If many directions. Remember, if your enemy can't find you, he can't stomp on you. This way, you can wait until you regain normal size. If you just can't hide, turn on the Jetpack. If neither of these options are available....well, just hope your opponent is feeling merciful.
