Dune 2: The Building of a Dynasty Hints
Starport
Starports can be useful when they want to be. When you click on these, they allow you to order a certain amount of units. Why is this better than producing them, you ask? Because their prices fluctuate, that's why. For example, sometimes a Harvester can be as high as 800 credits -- obviously not worth it. However, wait a couple minutes and check back, and you may see the price has gone down to 120 credits. In this case, buy several of them (as many as they allow). Also, if you order mass quantities of units, they come in faster than if you were to make them yourself.
It also allows you step over the 25-unit limit in the game. And they can be of extreme use to the Ordos, because the Orders can buy Siege Tanks from starports before they can make them, and they can buy Rocket Launchers from starports, which they normally can't make. Because prices fluctuate here, all the prices for the units in this file are for if you build them yourself. The prices at Starports are random and change every couple minutes.
