Dune 2: The Building of a Dynasty Hints
Information
If you've tried to read all of this, and get utterly confused, this should help you a little bit. A scenario is basically another name for a level in the game. Structures are all the buildings you can build in the game. Windtraps, Conctruction Yards, Barracks, etc, are all structures. Units are any of the guys you control in the game. Soldiers, Troopers, Quads, Tanks, etc, are all units. Many times you'll hear me referring to the enemy. This is because you face different houses each mission (and later on, two or three houses at once!).
Also take note that this does not cover every scenario. This merely provides strategies for the game, although there are some specific strategies for the later levels. The reason behind this is that what the layout of the level looks like depends on what piece of land you choose on the map between levels, and covering everything would be nearly insane. Plus, there are few terrain types to get in your way (i.e., mountains) so there really isn't anything to hinder your progress.
Make sure to read the unit and structure descriptions I provided in this file. They have strategies for each unit. Be sure ask your Mentat about them, too, to see what they think about them. I don't think the Mentat can be asked in the Genesis version, though.
