Dune 2: The Building of a Dynasty Hints
Deviator
Deviators are a Ordos-only unit. They look just like Rocket Launchers, but instead of just shooting rockets, these rockets explode with nerve gas and cause the enemies they hit to temporarily change sides. This sounds good, but the effect only lasts a few seconds. However, this is dynamite against Harkonnen Devastators (simply nerve gas them, then tell them to self-destruct), and occasionally, the game screws up. How so, you ask? Well, sometimes the unit stays permanently on your side. And sometimes, the computer still thinks that they control the unit, even though you control it. That means that you can go and attack their buildings without them noticing! Attacking units won't work (they'll get smart and attack back) and you usually can't destroy structures, as they're repaired too fast.
