  • Although this is not really a unit, I didn't know where else to classify it.  Deathhands are fired by Harkonnen and Sarduakar Palaces.  They almost instantly destroy anything it touches, and the things around it.  There is no way to guard against it.  With Atreides and Ordos on the last level, expect two Deathhands to come, often in succession, because of the enemy Harkonnen and Sarduakar bases.  When playing as Harkonnen, you get a break -- usually only one if fired every once in a while.  Make sure you've got a backup Mobile Construction Vehicle!

    When firing these yourself, it is VERY inaccurate.  Save, then fire, then reload if it misses completely what you intended to hit.  They don't recharge very fast, so make your missiles count.  You obviously can't do this on the Genesis version, because you can't save!
