Sherlock Holmes: Silver Earring Hints
Now I can't make it to Fairfax Theatre!
1 of 8: Your ultimate goal is the upper left of the screen, but because of the directions Marty and the dog are walking, you can't go directly there without getting caught.
2 of 8: Go down, over and around, with a stop along the way. (Keep reading for a step-by-step as well as my graphical solution.)
3 of 8: Run Holmes down. When you are in the top-down yard view, find somewhere to hide -- from Marty's eyes this time.
4 of 8: There ... at the wagon is a good spot.
5 of 8: Pause Holmes just to the right of the wagon so it will be easy to move around it at the right moment. (There's a dark spot on the screen just a little above and to the right of the wagon.)
6 of 8: Marty is walking around the Cloakroom and will turn upwards, while the dog is walking towards the upper lamp post.
7 of 8: Wait until Marty is almost even with the upper part of the wagon. Then RUN (double-click) down, left, and up to the Theatre door.
8 of 8: When you've reached the door, whip out the warehouse key and use it on the door as quickly as you can. (It helps to have moved the warehouse key to the start of your inventory bar so you can grab it fast.)
