1 of 8: After using the matches on the candle, examine the shelter.
2 of 8: There is a red spot on the ground.
3 of 8: Look at the bottles, the mattress and the burned papers (left).
4 of 8: There are footprints here to measure. Then proceed and look at the walls.
5 of 8: A brick is different -- and stuck closed.
6 of 8: Pry it open.
7 of 8: Use your knife on the brick and pick up the contents of the exposed niche.
8 of 8: Read everything you've found. If you have done everything correctly, Holmes will comment that he should join Watson at Sherringford Hall.
