Inventory
1 of 5: Right-click to expose the inventory bar at the bottom of your screen.
Pick up objects by clicking on them. Get in the habit of looking at everything that is picked up immediately afterwards to see what it is and what can be done to it, if anything.
2 of 5: ALWAYS point to new inventory items and ALWAYS perform actions listed in the pop-up menu (if one appears). This is one of the important steps to completing each day. These include: Read, Unpack, Analyze.
3 of 5: If Holmes says "I need something" or you click and nothing happens, use the magnifying glass, tape measure, or test tube from inventory on that spot.
4 of 5: Always "read" all documents from within Inventory as soon as you find them. Some documents have more than one page, so be sure and read all of them within the Journal.
