Echo: Secrets of the Lost Cavern Hints
How can I moisten the pigments?
of 13: Water would be the best choice.
of 13: Unfortunately, there isn't any water in the cave area...
of 13: ...but you might find something that can be converted into water.
of 13: It is snowing outside..
of 13: ...and some ice has formed at the mouth of the cave.
of 13: Go back to the entrance to the cave, and search for an icicle (to the upper left of the cave entrance) that can be taken into inventory.
of 13: Now you'll need to find a way to convert the ice into water.
of 13: The heat from the fire could prove useful.
of 13: Place the ice on a rock just to the left of the fire to melt it. The rock by the fire is rather flat, but has a surface suitable for holding water.
of 13: Before you can use the water to moisten the pigments, you will need to find a suitable work surface.
of 13: The stained rock on the ground under the squares on the wall will make a suitable surface.
of 13: Each of the three pigments should be placed on the rock surface before they can be moistened.
of 13: To moisten the pigments, left-click on the pool of water (where you melted the icicle). The cursor will show that you are carrying water. Turn toward the pigment and use the water on one of the pigments. You will need to do the same thing for each pigment.
