Echo: Secrets of the Lost Cavern Hints
How do I know what color to paint which square?
1 of 8: The clue is Klem's stone. See if you can relate your three colored pigments to the three paint colors on the stone.
2 of 8: Note that one of the spots on the stone is blank -- i.e., has no pigment.
3 of 8: You have three colored pigments to work with: red, brown, and black.
4 of 8: You'll want to match the colors on Klem's stone to those three pigments.
5 of 8: Click on any of the moistened pigments, and then on any square on the wall, to change the wall square to the pigment color.
6 of 8: Looking at the stone, and reading across the top row, left to right, you should find: Black, brown, and red. Use your colored pigments to make the wall squares in the top row match those three colors, in the same order.
7 of 8: The middle row of the stone is: Black, brown, and black. Color the middle row of wall squares to match.
8 of 8: The bottom row of Klem's stone is brown on both ends, and blank in the middle. Color the two outer squares on the bottom row of the wall brown, and leave the middle one blank.
