Echo: Secrets of the Lost Cavern Hints
I can't get these things to go into place! What's the solution?
1 of 6: Remember that there are two pieces of the puzzle that cannot be moved, and each of the two pieces belongs to one of the tablets. Using these two pieces as starting points, the rest of the pieces must be added around them. Since the picture on the left piece has details that are a bit easier to see, it is recommended to work on that puzzle for the first few pieces.
2 of 6: Look at the sketch on the unmovable piece on the left, to see if you can find some tablet pieces with similar -- and matching -- sketch marks on the mixed-up pieces.
3 of 6: The following diagram of the broken tablets labels each of the puzzle pieces with either a letter or a number. The rock in the upper central area is also drawn in, since it can be difficult to see it.
4 of 6: The diagram above can be used to segregate the puzzle pieces into two groups -- the pieces with numbers will attach around the immovable piece on the left, and the pieces with letters will attach to the immovable piece on the right.
5 of 6: The numbers and letters in the diagram can also be used to give you some guidance as to which pieces can be placed in which order. In other words, the piece starting with number 1 and letter A can be placed on the immovable puzzle pieces at any time; however, the pieces with higher numbers and letters may depend upon having other puzzle pieces placed first. Keep in mind that you may occasionally need to move a puzzle piece onto the rock in the middle to make room as the tablets expand outward.
