Echo: Secrets of the Lost Cavern Hints
How should Arok paint the stag at the bottom left?
of 14: There are three colored marks over this stag. Two lines and a dot.
of 14: The line tells us which color to use to outline the stag.
of 14: The line over the stag on the bottom left is red; therefore, the stag will need to be outlined in red.
of 14: The outlines need to be more finely applied than the rest, so you'll need to select a tool that works well for fine work.
of 14: Use the brush for the outlining. To apply paint to the brush, you will need to place the arrow of the cursor over the paint color you wish to select, then click. (Do not try to put the tip of the brush into the paint.)
of 14: Using the red paint, click on the antlers and both legs of the bottom left stag.
of 14: Now that the outlining is done, the next step is to color in the body of the stag.
of 14: But you're not going to use the paintbrush for this type of painting...
of 14: ... the blowpipe will work much better.
of 14: The color to use to fill in the stag on the bottom left is indicated on the dot over the stag.
of 14: The color is neither black, nor red, nor yellow. And as such, none of these colors will work.
of 14: You'll have to create a new color to fill in the body.
of 14: The dot is actually orange. How could you get an orange-shaded paint?
of 14: Take the blowpipe and dip it in the red paint and then the yellow paint (or vice versa), to get an orange paint. Do not "clean" your brush by replacing it onto your palette between colors. Use the orange paint on the body of the stag. When finished, the stag will animate.
