Egypt 1156 B.C. Tomb of the Pharaoh Hints
Game Versions and Platforms
Egypt 1156 B.C. Tomb of the Pharaoh was distributed by Cryo Interactive in France, Germany, and Great Britain and by Dreamcatcher Games in the United States and Canada (and possibly other countries). A Playstation version was also released in some countries.
My CD-ROM included both a PC and a MAC version. Since I played Cryo's release on my PC in English, I do not know if the game varies between languages and platforms. It is my assumption that these hints will work for all versions of the game.
The first thing you probably noticed is that README.RTF on your CD may have been written in French. There is no English translation of the file (that I could find) so do the best you can with the screenshots provided. The context undoubtedly refers to DirectX setup. DirectX 5.0 is installable from the CDrom.
If you are having technical problems with Egypt, find more help on the Cryo and Dreamcatcher website support pages: http://www.cryo-interactive.com or http://www.dreamcatchergames.com
Some text files in English are located on the CDrom and on your hard drive. Assuming you installed Egypt into the default directory, the text files can be found on your PC's hard drive in C:\Program Files\Egypt\REF\US.
