Agatha Christie: Evil Under the Sun Hints
How do I use this map?
You won't use the map at all until after the murder happens, so you can ignore it till then. In fact, you can skip it entirely if you want; it's not necessary to win the game.
This map will show the whereabouts of each person in the story from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the day of the murder -- or at least, where each person says they were. To use it, zoom in on the map, then change the time on the clock below the map by clicking on the keys beside the clock face; the key on the left moves time back, the one on the right moves it forward.
At each time change, the pushpins will go to the position each person said they were in at that time. The black pin is the body, the red pins are hotel guests, the green pins are staff; the blue pins are villagers, and the yellow pin is Colonel Weston. Click on a specific pin to see who it represents. If a pin stays on the bottom of the map, it means you haven't talked to that suspect yet.
Strangely, this isn't as much help as you might think, partly because you know at least one of these people is lying. Or perhaps you have a more ordered and methodical mind than I do, and all this business about how long it takes to get everywhere actually means something to you?
