How do I get the binoculars from Mrs. Castle?
1 of 3: In case you can't find her, Mrs. Castle is in the lookout, staring obsessively out to sea.
2 of 3: This might seem a little odd, but it has a basis in fact. In 1940, there was a very real danger that Germany would try to invade England, and a lot of people who lived along the coastline spent a lot of time scanning the horizon for German submarines, also called U-boats.
3 of 3: With all that, it's not that hard to get Mrs. Castle to give you her binoculars. All you have to offer to help her look for U-boats and return a book to the bookshop in Leathercombe for her.
