How do I do the stopwatch timing?
1 of 4: As you walk around the island, Poirot will suggest that you can now use the stopwatch to record how much time it takes to get from that spot to the scene of the crime. You can do this at any point in the game (up until you have to solve the murder in Poirot Explains It All), and it's easier than you think.
2 of 4: To start timing, go to one of the places Poirot wants to time, and then click on the stopwatch. The rest is automatic, and you'll be returned to the place where you started afterwards.
3 of 4: The places you need to time are the tennis court, the monastery ruins, Sanctuary Cove, the entrance to the Ledges, the Bathing Beach, and the front entrance of the hotel.
4 of 4: Late in the game (August 25, Late Afternoon), you'll find two more timing spots in the caves.
