How do I trap the drug smugglers?
1 of 8: During the question and answer session with Poirot --
2 of 8: -- Hastings said something about throwing the compass off using a magnetic sliver from the garage. What now?
3 of 8: Remember that bit of stuff you took off the spanner when you were cleaning the car's points? If you look at it in inventory, you'll find that it's magnetic.
4 of 8: Combine the sliver with the working compass (not the broken one you found in the caves) and give it to Blatt, who's now in the hotel bar. That means he'll get lost when he tries to go through the tunnels, and he'll be yours.
5 of 8: Now go to Cutter's Cove any way you like (either via tunnels or being rowed by Emily) and replace the sandwich tin in the cave under the seaweed. You're ready to catch them now.
6 of 8: Go back to Leathercombe and tell Weston you're ready to spring the trap. When you go back to the garage to return to the island, though, Will tells you something odd. Be careful how you answer.
7 of 8: Back on the island, ask Emily to take you to Cutter's Cove one more time. Walk into the cave with Weston, noticing that the sandwich tin is gone, and charge in to apprehend the baddies. The answer to the question they pose is --
