Jumping ship

  • 2 of 18: If he jumps overboard, Quickthorpe will either be eaten by the shark or drown.
  • 3 of 18: You can try killing the shark.
  • 4 of 18: How about poisoning it.
  • 5 of 18: Try it!
  • 6 of 18: You've got no real poisons so you'll have to improvise.
  • 7 of 18: Maybe you can find the necessary ingredients onboard the ship.
  • 8 of 18: Where?
  • 9 of 18: Look at and Examine the bed.  There's something ~terribly~ smelly there which you should nevertheless take.
  • 10 of 18: Try looking elsewhere around the ship for something else to help you.
  • 11 of 18: Try the hold.
  • 12 of 18: Look at and Examine the barrel behind the stairs. 
  • 13 of 18: Take the raw steak.
  • 14 of 18: Examine the fuel tank and note the toxic liquid inside.
  • 15 of 18: If you like, you can dip the steak into the gunk and see what happens.
  • 16 of 18: Go back to the ship's deck.
  • 17 of 18: Examine the horribly smelly socks and insert the steak.
  • 18 of 18: Throw this concoction to the shark.  It gobbles it down, suffers a severe case of food poisoning, and literally goes belly up.
