Fable Hints
How do I enter the Cave?
1 of 11: There are actually two ways of entering the Cave. You can easily enter via the rear exit from the Well, but, under most circumstances, you may not be able to fulfill essential jobs if you do!
2 of 11: Sooner or later you'll have to take the bushy path.
3 of 11: When you first try to enter the cave, an Ogre comes out and kills you.
4 of 11: Hide from him.
5 of 11: Look around for the best place to hide.
6 of 11: Go to the bushes at the lower right of the screen.
7 of 11: Examine these bushes.
8 of 11: Shake them or otherwise disturb them.
9 of 11: The Ogre emerges and smells Quickthorpe. "Fe-Fi-Fo-Fun!" -- but he can't see Quickthorpe. Instead, he ambles off, blocking the cave entrance with a huge boulder. So you must find another way in.
10 of 11: There's a small inconspicuous hole in the cliff (in the center of the screen).
