Returning items to inventory
The game manual explains in detail how you take and use items from your inventory, but it fails to mention the rather cumbersome procedure for returning them whenever necessary.
First use the spacebar to toggle the inventory window so that it's on-screen. Move your Mouse so that the particular item's icon is situated anywhere on the inventory window. Then keep clicking the right Mouse button until the Action-Text Line reads 'Drop the particular item'. Click your left Mouse button and the particular item is returned to your inventory.
