Fable: The Lost Chapters Hints
Notes
1 of 4: You can run around various indoor areas and interact with lots of bookshelves to pick up books. Many of them can be used for a certain quest in Bowerstone South after you graduate.
2 of 4: You can visit Maze in his room upstairs in the guild's southernmost building. The first time you do, you'll overhear part of a conversation he's having with an interesting being known as Scythe (you'll see more of him during the last few gold quests at the end of the game).
3 of 4: Once you're a teenage apprentice, you can use Maze like a practice dummy to increase your strength and skill experience points. Just lock onto him with the Lock-On key and take a swing or a shot at him. He won't like it, but will only say something rather than punishing you. Attack him over and over again for unlimited increases! (Note that you can't increase your will XP by zapping him, but you should zap him a couple of times to remove the need to lock onto him constantly for melee and bow attacks.)
4 of 4: Another way to pump this part of the game for strength XP is to keep fighting Whisper in the melee ring for the grading guy. You can only win a prize the first time, but you can keep getting strength XP for every fight. (Note that using the stick will get you the most XP per fight.)
