Fable: The Lost Chapters Hints

Hobbe Killing Contest

  • 1 of 7: This quest is available at the map table after you finish the Orchard Farm Gold Quest.
  • 2 of 7: Head out to Orchard Farm to find the farmer and Whisper waiting for you where the mini map shows a pulsing gold orb. Approach them when you're ready to start the quest.
  • 3 of 7: You've only got a few minutes to kill more Hobbes than Whisper does, so get to it.
  • 4 of 7: TIP: Use the Physical Shield spell to help you get your combat multiplier way up during this battle.
  • 5 of 7: If you're annoyed by Whisper stealing your kills after you beat them up badly, just run off to the other side of the bridge that Whisper leads you to at first so she isn't nearby. (Or use the spell Slow Time so you can move much faster than she can.)
  • 6 of 7: TIP: If you find that you're getting loads of XP by killing hobbes, then "hero save" right before the timer runs out and then restore. More fun and XP!
  • 7 of 7: When the timer runs out, it's over no matter what the kill count is. Hopefully you got more than Whisper did! If so, you get a neat hobbe tooth trophy to show off.
