Fable: The Lost Chapters Hints
Bandit Toll
1 of 5: You'll get this quest as soon as you enter the Greatwood Gorge area, which is where the bandit toll area is set up.
2 of 5: A short ways past the bridge is a bandit that you can talk to in order to pay the toll. However, it's definitely better to kill them off so you can get XP and their loot.
3 of 5: When you first see the toll-collecting bandit on the path ahead, use the bow to shoot him dead. Then either bow-shoot the other bandits in the distance, or charge them with your melee weapon (using Physical Shield or Force Push magic to help out).
4 of 5: If you want to put a quick stop to the resistance, find the local bandit leader in his camp up at the north end of the area and kill him. The others will run once he's dead.
5 of 5: After the bandits are dealt with, be sure to fully loot the area, especially the bandit leader's camp. There's a neat flame augmentation crystal in one chest that you can use to augment your favorite melee or ranged weapon.
