Fable: The Lost Chapters Hints
The Darkwood Bordello
1 of 14: The bordello in the Darkwood Lake region is open after you finish the Gold Quest entitled "Trader Escort."
2 of 14: NOTE: This quest never appears in your quest list, but it's too quest-like not to treat it as a quest in these hints.
3 of 14: When you first enter the bordello area, you're greeted by Madam Minzche, who informs you that the current owner is a real jerk.
4 of 14: Go into the bordello building and find the jerk standing next to the bar.
5 of 14: When you talk to him, he'll give you a big hint as to how you can get him to reveal the location of the bordello deeds.
6 of 14: He says Madam Minzche tried to find out by getting him drunk on beer once, but he didn't fall for it because he knew she was up to something.
7 of 14: Maybe he'll trust you enough to accept beer from you.
8 of 14: Buy six or more beers from the bartender, then keep giving them to Grope until he heads upstairs and reveals the location of the bordello deeds in a cut-scene. (You give someone beers by standing to where the person is highlighted, then using a beer from inventory or the item quickbar.)
9 of 14: He says they're buried next to a tree near the lake (meaning the big pond with a fountain in it), so go looking around there.
10 of 14: Run up to the huge tree by the area exit and use the spade when you get a spade icon on the context-sensitive items menu.
11 of 14: Now that you have the deeds, report in to Madam Minzche to get Grope chased off for good.
12 of 14: Talk to Minzche again to get the choice of whether or not to keep the bordello running.
13 of 14: The good choice is to have the bordello turned into a shelter for women, whereas the evil way is to keep it going as a bordello.
