Find the Bandit Seeress

  • 1 of 16: This quest appears on the guild map table after you talk to Maze in Oakvale.
  • 2 of 16: After you pick up its card, teleport to Oakvale and find the entrance to the Clifftop Path down in the very SW corner of the Oakvale region.
  • 3 of 16: When you enter the Clifftop Path, the Guildmaster will advise you that you need to make sure you're not seen by any of the three bandits in the area. If you are, the gate to the Abandoned Road will be locked for awhile.
  • 4 of 16: The most obvious though hardest way to handle this area is to use the Creep key to sneak by all the bandits so you can get through the gate.
  • 5 of 16: A better way if you've got a powerful bow or Fireball spell is to carefully snipe each bandit from a distance before he sees you. You'll need to score one-shot kills on all three bandits to avoid an alarm.
  • 6 of 16: In the Abandoned Road, there are lots of bandits that you can kill in whatever way you prefer as you tear through the area.
  • 7 of 16: TIP: One of the barrels at the camp that's about halfway down the road contains an Ages of Skill potion. You could get it and then quickly kill off all the bandits in the area to get your combat multiplier way up before drinking it. Then do a "hero save" and load it to repeat the process.
  • 8 of 16: When you move on to Twinblade's Camp, you'll quickly come to a closed gate with a bandit guard who won't attack you, but who won't let you through, either.
  • 9 of 16: The locals in Twinblade's Camp are friendly even if you change clothes, so go around and loot the place and do business with the merchants. (Note that there's a great treasure area SE of the big pond where you can get an Ages of the Will potion and dig up a silver key.)
  • 10 of 16: To get through the gate that leads to Twinblade Elite's Camp, you'll have to get a bandit residence pass.
  • 11 of 16: Loot the elite area of stuff, including an Ages of Might potion in a barrel near the center of the area, then see about getting through the gate that leads to Twinblade's tent.
  • 12 of 16: The guard there isn't going to agree to let you through no matter what you do or say, and killing him won't get the gate open. You'll have to think of some way to cause a major distraction so that reinforcements have to come through the gate from Twinblade's tent.
  • 13 of 16: As soon as you enter his tent area, Twinblade will emerge and attack you. He's an *extremely* good blocker, and even flourish attacks will do him little damage.
  • 14 of 16: After the revealing cut-scene dealing with the seeress is over, quickly kill off all the regular bandits in the area and raid it for treasure, including the chest at the end of the northern path (it has a very rare diamond in it).
  • 15 of 16: Now decide whether or not you want to finish off Twinblade. If so, start attacking him again. If not, just leave the area without attacking him.
  • 16 of 16: The quest is finally over when you return to the elite camp area.
