Fable: The Lost Chapters Hints
Execution Tree / Rescue
1 of 7: This dual quest appears on the guild map table after you finish the Gold Quest "Rescue the Archaeologist."
2 of 7: For once, the rescue alternative is the evil one (since you're rescuing a bandit who's been justly condemned to death).
3 of 7: Either way, go to the Bowerstone Jail area to start the quest.
4 of 7: If you're going to rescue the bandit, all you have to do is run all the way to Headsman's Hill and kill the executioner, who'll be up on the execution platform. There is a timer for this, so it's best to activate Physical Shield (and maybe Slow Time) and just run past all the guards you meet along the way.
5 of 7: If you're doing the quest the other way, go to Bowerstone Jail to join the execution party as it slowly makes its way to Headsman's Hill. You'll have to quickly kill off any bandits that attack at various points along the journey before they can kill anyone in your group.
6 of 7: TIPS: Be sure to stay with your group at all times, and use Slow Time to help you kill off bandits quickly. After each battle, use Heal Life to keep your two guard pals healthy.
7 of 7: After you fight off the final bandit attack at Headsman's Hill (making sure the executioner survives, too), you'll get to see the condemned bandit be put to death, and the quest will be over.
