Fable: The Lost Chapters Hints

Wasp Menace

  • 1 of 9: This is the first quest you can get from the map table, and is also your first required (gold) quest of the game. You can get its quest card right after you graduate from the guild.
  • 2 of 9: This fairly simple quest sends you to the picnic area that's west of Lookout Point, which is the area past the guild's large front doors.
  • 3 of 9: NOTE: If you go to the picnic area before you get this quest's card, no one will be there. You can take stuff from the tables, but that's all.
  • 4 of 9: Soon after you enter Lookout Point with the quest card, a guy from the picnic area will run up to you and ask you to follow him. Do so at a run to get to the picnic area quickly.
  • 5 of 9: As soon as you're there, start killing wasps. It should be fairly easy to do by just swinging your melee weapon at them -- each one goes down after just one or two hits.
  • 6 of 9: After you kill all the ones that start in the area, the huge wasp queen will show up. She'll attack you, and she'll summon up more regular-size wasps to help her.
  • 7 of 9: It's possible to kill the wasp queen entirely with a melee weapon, but it would be easier to use arrows and/or magic spells like Lightning.
  • 8 of 9: When the queen summons more wasps to assist her, quickly kill them with your melee weapon and then go back to attacking the queen.
  • 9 of 9: After she dies, you'll get her huge head as a trophy, and three people will show up to cheer you. (TIP: Immediately get some more renown by showing off the wasp head to them.)
