Fable: The Lost Chapters Hints

Rescue Scarlet Robe

  • 1 of 10: This quest is given to you as soon as you finish opening the door in the Circle of the Dead area in the previous gold quest.
  • 2 of 10: When you're ready to start, go through the door to get to the Underground Chamber.
  • 3 of 10: There's nothing of note in the Underground Chamber (for now), so continue on to the Underground Tunnel, where you can have some fun smashing undead.
  • 4 of 10: When you first enter the tunnel's central chamber, a bunch of evil red bubbles (how scary) will block all the doors until you smash a few more easy-kill undead.
  • 5 of 10: After that, head down the north passage if you want some extra combat and treasure, then take the SE passage to reach the exit to the Cliffside Path (not to be confused with the Clifftop Path that connects Oakvale to the Abandoned Road).
  • 6 of 10: The path is a good one to search for treasure, since there are several treasure chests scattered about the area with armor and augmentation items in them. When you're done looting, head east to the door to the Underground Passage. (Before you can go through that door, it'll be the standard red-bubbles-and-undead-attack routine.)
  • 7 of 10: The Underground Passage is populated with guards that show you you're finally near the prison. Go through the area, hacking or distance-shooting guards and looting barrels and chests, until you're ready to move on to the Torture Chamber (ouch!).
  • 8 of 10: You'll find the artist formerly known as Scarlet Robe (and "mom") in the big cell in the Torture Chamber. To release her, interact with the nearby floor lever.
  • 9 of 10: Head out the door marked with a gold pointer on the mini map to get back in the Underground Passage with a fresh batch of guards to hack up. Finish them off, then run down to the circular crossroads area.
  • 10 of 10: That's where you'll be trapped and captured no matter what you do -- might as well get it over with. That'll end this quest and start the next one without a break for a "world save."
