Fable: The Lost Chapters Hints
Gateway to Hook Coast
1 of 9: You get this quest as soon as you finish rescuing your mother (and yourself) from prison.
2 of 9: Teleport to Barrow Fields and then make your way to the Ancient Cullis Gate area, where the quest will begin.
3 of 9: To get the cullis gate in this area to work, you need to approach it and then quickly kill off undead creatures until the gate has absorbed enough of their energy to activate.
4 of 9: Use Slow Time if you have to in order to quickly fill up the gate's energy bar. When you do, you'll automatically be teleported to Hook Coast.
5 of 9: After doing the usual exploring and looting, head on up to the NW part of town, where the pulsing gold orb on the mini map is telling you to go.
6 of 9: Once in the ruined abbey, you'll see that there's a magic forcefield covering the entrance to the part you need to get to.
7 of 9: Your mother will say to meet her in Maze's quarters at the guild, so teleport yourself there.
8 of 9: She'll be captured and taken away by minions, but will yell out something about a book right before they disappear.
9 of 9: The book she's referring to is on the small table that's a bit to the left of the fireplace. Pick it up finish the quest.
