The Souls of Heroes

  • 1 of 9: You get this quest as soon as you complete the one where you activate the oracle.
  • 2 of 9: Briar Rose wants you to meet her back in the large circular dealie in the Archon's Shrine area, so teleport over there.
  • 3 of 9: She'll tell you that Jack will be reincarnated somewhere behind the bronze gate, and that you need to capture three heroes' souls in Jack's old mask in order to open the bronze gate and go after him.
  • 4 of 9: Start by teleporting to Knothole Glade, where Thunder will explain that you can go to the Arena to harvest the first kind of soul that you need.
  • 5 of 9: Of course, you could do things the quick and evil way and kill Thunder himself right here and now, as Jack suggests. That would do it.
  • 6 of 9: The next soul will either be Briar Rose's if you want to take the easy way out and kill her, or your mother's if you don't mind another journey.
  • 7 of 9: The third and final soul has to be that of the Guildmaster, or so it appears at first.
  • 8 of 9: Teleport back to the guild to learn that good old Nostro is another possibility.
  • 9 of 9: When you return to Archon's Shrine with the third soul, the bronze gate will open and this quest will end.
