Fable: The Lost Chapters Hints
Protect / Attack Orchard Farm
1 of 9: This "dual quest" appears on the guild's map table after you finish talking to Maze in Bowerstone South.
2 of 9: Since you can't both protect Orchard Farm and attack it at the same time, you'll need to choose which one you want to do, keeping in mind that protecting is good and attacking is evil.
3 of 9: After you've picked up a quest card, exit the guild and make your way to the Greatwood Entrance, where you'll learn that Whisper has picked up the other card. (Can't wait to humiliate her again, can you?)
4 of 9: This is where the good and evil paths diverge.
5 of 9: After all the crates have either been successfully protected (good) or stolen (evil), Whisper will attack you.
6 of 9: NOTE: Any boasts you took for this quest still apply, so don't draw a sword if you chose the "fist fighter" boast, etc.
7 of 9: After Whisper gives up, the quest is over.
8 of 9: TIP: You can exploit this quest to greatly increase your life line. After you kill off the first wave of enemies, quickly find the tiny pond that's between the house and the barn and fish out an Elixir of Life. (Hopefully you got a fishing rod before starting this quest!) Drink the elixir, then do a "hero save" and then load it. Keep repeating this process until drinking an elixir doesn't increase your life line.
9 of 9: TIP: You can also get an unlimited number of "jet" stones and silver keys from this quest. The jet is in the chest behind the barn, and the silver key is in the water ripple near the pier at the far east end of the area. You can get as many silver keys as you'll ever need (30) right here and now if you're patient enough, though you may want to stop at 20 since that's all you'll need for a *very* long time.
